Outwith specific property or asset finance, businesses require equity investment and/or loans to finance expansion and growth.
This can be in the form of equity e.g. from business angels/syndicates and/or other reputable investors in Scotland. We are Corporate Partners of LINC Scotland, the Business Angel network and also have extensive connections with many other equity funds, many of whom will be co-funded along with Scottish Enterprise thereby increasing your business’ access to equity funds.
Loan finance for business requirements, e.g. to fund working capital can be obtained from banks, but also via other funders often less well known e.g. UK Steel Enterprise, West (and East) of Scotland Loan Fund. All of these are well known to us.
As well as being familiar with many funders we can assist in preparing your financial proposals to approach investors/lenders with the correct level of information thereby increasing your chances of success. This can involve the preparation of a full business plan which must be of a good and rigorous standard.
Overall, we are very experienced in packaging robust proposals with supporting detailed information to allow us to raise necessary funds for growing businesses via a variety of funders from our large contact base.
